Our client, a top-tier helicopter operator in the offshore market, is looking for skilled Helicopter Mechanics to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen. With an equal time rotation and accommodation provided for those who choose to travel, this is an exciting opportunity for aspiring Aircraft Engineers or mechanics alike, looking to work in an engaging line maintenance environment within the aerospace MRO sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance tasks on aircraft and components in accordance with issued work orders, applicable manuals, and approved maintenance data.
- Conduct activities such as disassembly & reassembly, rectifying defects, and component replacements and system adjustments.
- Ensure all safety regulations and procedures are followed at all times.
- Immediately report safety hazards or mandatory occurrences via the occurrence reporting system.
- Adhere to all MOE procedures and inform the Chief Engineer/Maintenance Lead if instructions or processes are unclear, incomplete, or ambiguous.
- Record all performed maintenance accurately and clearly in the work file.
- Raise defect entries or non-routine tasks for any findings discovered during inspections.
- Support Licensed Engineers during troubleshooting and functional checks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment, including proper care of tools and ground equipment.
- Contribute to flexible and efficient planning.
- Ensure that planned maintenance is completed within appropriate timeframes to support operational needs.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in rotary aircraft maintenance.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with colleagues, storekeepers, CAMO engineers, etc., and for handover work.
- Demonstrated experience in base or line maintenance operations.
- Strong understanding of UKCAA regulations and safety protocols.
- Accuracy and reliability.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
