Our client is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of a major AMP8 water programme across the United Utilities region. This permanent role will oversee complex water and wastewater projects, from design and construction through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the safe, high-quality delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects across the AMP8 programme
- Manage programme performance across cost, schedule, margin, cash flow and commercial objectives
- Ensure projects meet regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with United Utilities, design organisations and other stakeholders
- Drive programme growth and support the development of future framework opportunities
- Lead, support and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary delivery team
- Manage key supply chain partners and promote effective contractual and commercial performance
- Champion innovation, modern methods of construction, sustainable solutions and improved delivery processes
Job Requirements
- Significant experience working for a contractor on a mix of water and wastewater projects
- Strong programme or major project leadership experience within the water infrastructure sector
- Excellent commercial, contractual and risk management capabilities
- Experience managing client relationships and engaging effectively with design organisations and supply chain partners
- Broad understanding of civil, mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines
- Knowledge of advanced treatment processes
- Relevant project management accreditation
