Our client is seeking a UAT Lead to support technology transformation and system implementation programmes on a contract basis. The role will lead end-to-end User Acceptance Testing, ensuring business requirements are met, testing outcomes are clearly evidenced and solutions are ready for deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead UAT planning, governance and execution from preparation through to closure
- Coordinate the development of test scenarios, scripts and business test data
- Manage UAT schedules, resources and tester readiness
- Monitor test progress, coverage, defects, risks and dependencies
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, testing meetings and status reporting
- Coordinate defect triage and resolution with functional and technical teams
- Ensure test evidence is captured and maintained within agreed testing tools
- Drive business acceptance, sign-off and go-live readiness, producing closure reports and deployment recommendations
Key Deliverables:
- UAT strategy and test plan
- Test scenarios, scripts and business test data
- UAT status updates and defect reports
- Complete and accurate test evidence repository
- UAT closure report
- Business sign-off and go-live readiness recommendation
Job Requirements:
- Experience leading UAT for large transformation or system implementation programmes
- Strong IT testing knowledge, including business process testing and defect management
- Experience using test management tools such as Azure DevOps, ALM or JIRA
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills
- Strong planning, governance, reporting and organisational capabilities
- Understanding of release readiness, business acceptance and deployment processes
Success Measures:
- UAT is completed on schedule and planned test coverage is achieved
- Critical defects are resolved before deployment
- Timely business sign-off is obtained
- Successful transition to go-live is achieved with minimal business disruption
