An exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a fast-paced finance team, supporting the accurate reporting of revenue and delivery of month-end results within a large, complex organisation. This role offers a broad mix of financial accounting, reconciliations, controls, and reporting responsibilities, while also providing opportunities to support process improvements and finance transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial data and delivering confidence in reported results.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post month-end journals.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules.
- Support revenue recognition and revenue-related accounting activities.
- Perform reconciliations across key revenue and payment streams.
- Assist with month-end, half-year, and year-end reporting.
- Support external audit requirements.
- Identify process improvements and drive efficiencies.
- Work closely with finance and operational stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Strong month-end accounting experience.
- Experience within a large or complex organisation.
- Good understanding of reconciliations, controls, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive approach with the ability to identify and implement improvements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
