Our client is currently seeking a Senior Engineer for Streetlighting to join their team. This is a contract position focused on managing and overseeing streetlighting services within the area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the client-side streetlighting service
- Conducting regular site visits to ensure all streetlighting projects meet specified standards and deadlines
- Presenting findings and progress reports to stakeholders
- Collaborating with internal teams and external contractors to ensure efficient project delivery
- Providing technical guidance and support to address streetlighting issues
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Monitoring and managing streetlighting budgets and forecasts
- Maintaining and enhancing client relationships through excellent communication and service
Job Requirements:
- Experience as a Streetlighting Engineer
- Strong knowledge of streetlighting standards and regulations
- Ability to conduct thorough site visits and assessments
- Excellent presentation and report-writing skills
- Strong leadership and project management abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
