Our client is seeking a BIM Modeller to support a rail infrastructure project based at Liverpool Baltic Station. This contract role offers remote working and requires strong BIM capability, with proficiency in MicroStation and OpenBuildings Designer (OBD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing and maintaining accurate BIM models and technical drawings for rail infrastructure works
- Using MicroStation and OpenBuildings Designer (OBD) to develop and update project information
- Collaborating with engineers, designers and project teams to coordinate model delivery
- Interpreting technical information, drawings and project requirements
- Ensuring models and documentation comply with relevant BIM standards and project procedures
- Supporting the coordination, review and resolution of design information
Job Requirements:
- Experience working as a BIM Modeller within the rail, engineering or infrastructure sector
- Strong understanding of BIM processes, standards and information management
- Proficiency in MicroStation and OpenBuildings Designer (OBD)
- Ability to produce accurate 3D models and technical drawings
- Understanding of rail design, construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage project information effectively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote working environment
