Our client, an established integrated design and build provider in the water sector, is seeking a Civil Site Engineer to support the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of major water and wastewater infrastructure projects.


Key Responsibilities



  • Setting out and surveying civil engineering works in accordance with project specifications

  • Supervising subcontractors and site operatives to support safe and efficient delivery

  • Completing quality inspections, inspection and test plans, and associated records

  • Producing and maintaining accurate site documentation, progress reports and site records

  • Supporting programme delivery, short-term planning and the coordination of daily site activities

  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements

  • Identifying and resolving technical issues on site, escalating matters where appropriate

  • Working collaboratively with construction, commercial, quality, design and client teams


Job Requirements



  • Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline

  • Experience in site-based civil engineering or infrastructure projects

  • Understanding of setting out and surveying techniques

  • Knowledge of health, safety, environmental and quality requirements within constructionExperience within the water sector

  • Working knowledge of NEC contracts

  • SMSTS, SSSTS or an equivalent site safety qualification

  • Experience using digital construction tools and quality assurance systems

  • Membership of ICE or another relevant professional institution

  • Full UK driving licence
