Senior QA Automation Engineer
Long-Term Contract | London | Active DV Required
I'm working with a specialist organisation delivering cutting-edge solutions across the National Security and Defence sector, seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a long-term programme based onsite in London.
This is an opportunity to work on highly secure, mission-critical systems alongside software engineers, test specialists and technical delivery teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and develop automated test frameworks and scripts
- Improve and maintain automated testing capability
- Investigate defects and perform root cause analysis
- Work closely with developers and test analysts
- Drive testing best practice and automation standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Support delivery of secure, high-assurance systems
Required Experience
- Active DV Clearance (MOD DV accepted)
- Proven Test Automation Engineering experience
- Strong Python development skills
- PowerShell scripting
- C# and/or Java
- Test framework development and maintenance
- Automated functional and integration testing
- ISTQB certification or relevant degree
- Experience within secure, defence or government environments
