BAE Systems is seeking skilled Ship Technicians to support critical maintenance and upgrade work on the Royal Navy's Type 45 Destroyers in Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world-class defence project in a long-term, stable role.

Project: Type 45 Destroyers
Position: Ship Technician
Shifts: 12-hour Days & Nights (rotating pattern)
Employment Type: PAYE
Role Overview:
- Support mechanical, structural, or electrical work aboard Type 45 vessels
- Carry out installations, upgrades, maintenance, and repairs
- Read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
- Work to MOD and BAE safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with multi-trade teams on a busy shipyard
- Understand Lock out and tag out procedures
- Use of Safe systems of Work
Ex Navy preferred not required
PAYE Rates:
- 12-Hour Day Shift: £27.40/hour
- 12-Hour Night Shift: £33.22/hour
