Our partner, BAE Systems, is seeking experienced Pipe Fitters to join their growing team in Glasgow on a 12-month contract. Competitive salary rates are offered for both locals and those willing to commute.

As a talented Pipefitter, you will shape essential piping and plumbing systems and make a real impact both in the workshop and on the ships.

In the Shop: You will craft a range of small and large bore pipework from a variety of materials, including copper and carbon steel. You will use a range of hand tools and mechanical equipment to cut, bend, braze, solder, and weld pipes to perfection, ensuring that every system you create is both functional and effective.

Onboard Ships: You will become an expert in installing essential plumbing systems on ships, including sinks, showers, and toilets. Your skills will also be key in fabricating and installing pipework systems, both large and small, using a range of materials to support the smooth operation of vital ship systems.

  • For Umbrella Contractors living within 39 miles of the base:
  • Standard Shift - £25.22 per hour
  • Weekend and Night Shift - £33.36 per hour
  • Weekday and Saturday OT - £35.43 per hour
  • Sunday OT - £47.20 per hour
  • For Umbrella Contractors living more than 39 miles of the base:
  • Standard Shift - £35.62 per hour
  • Weekend and Night Shift - £43.76 per hour
  • Weekday and Saturday OT - £35.77 per hour
  • Sunday OT - £47.43 per hour
