Air Sector is engaged in a critical role on the Dreadnought submarine programme to develop the functional design of the Active Vehicle Control System (AVCS), the system used to drive and manoeuvre that boat. The work uses Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques at scale on a safety critical system.
