Mechanical QC Inspector (Inside IR35)
Mechanical QC Inspector - AWE | 6 months | Inside IR35 | £45/hr + expenses | On-site
We're looking for an experienced Mechanical QC Inspector to support a major programme at AWE on an initial 6-month contract.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct inspections in line with ITPs and approved procedures
- Witness/verify mechanical installation and testing activities
- Review quality documentation and support handover / lifetime records where applicable
- Identify non-conformances and support close-out actions with delivery teams
- Ensure works comply with relevant standards, drawings and specifications
Essential
- Previous AWE / nuclear / highly regulated site experience (preferred)
- Strong mechanical inspection background (installation / fabrication / pipework / assembly etc.)
- Confident working to ITPs and technical documentation
- Able to work on-site and communicate effectively with contractors and client teams

- £45 per hour + expenses
- On-site in Reading
