An organisation within the Defence & Security space is looking for a Security-Cleared Project Manager to support delivery of software, infrastructure, and technology remediation projects within a Digital Backbone Portfolio. You'll work under direction of the Programme Manager to plan and deliver projects to agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver software and infrastructure projects end-to-end (initiation through completion)
- Build and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies
- Coordinate internal delivery teams, business stakeholders, and third-party suppliers
- Manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
- Track performance and provide governance / status reporting
- Ensure adherence to governance, security, change control and delivery processes
- Support budgeting, planning, and delivery oversight across stakeholders
What you'll bring (essential):
- Proven delivery of software and/or infrastructure projects in enterprise environments
- Strong stakeholder and supplier management
- Solid experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, reporting
- Confident risk/issue management
- Methodology knowledge: PRINCE2 / Agile / Waterfall / hybrid
- Security clearance suitable for Defence & Security work
Desirable:
- Experience across infrastructure refresh, cloud migration, cyber security, or obsolescence remediation
- Certifications: PRINCE2 / APM PMQ / PMP (or equivalent)
