Our client is a well-established, innovation-led business in the pharmaceutical and nutritional healthcare space, with a strong international footprint and a reputation for long-term product development and commercial performance. I am supporting them with the hire of a Commercial Analyst to strengthen forecasting, distributor performance analysis, and commercial decision support across global markets. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys turning complex data into clear, actionable insight.
Key responsibilities include:
- Produce monthly outturn forecasts from export orders and maintain visibility of the rolling 4-month order book.
- Identify supply chain risks, delays and stock issues, escalating where appropriate.
- Analyse distributor sales-in and sales-out to spot trends, performance drivers and opportunities.
- Build and improve reporting/processes to measure and evaluate campaign performance (working with International Marketing leadership).
- Support commercial projects including pricing reviews, new market assessments and distributor incentive programmes.
- Review distributor project briefs, assess commercial viability and provide clear recommendations.
- Coordinate product availability, lead times and shipment status through accurate internal communication and cross-checking.
Key skills and experience required:
- Degree educated (ideally Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or similar).
- Proven experience in a fast-moving, commercial and externally-facing analyst role.
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate insight into commercial actions.
- Advanced Excel (highly beneficial).
- ERP experience (SAP or similar).
- Understanding of statistical methods, analytical techniques, and basic finance/budgeting.
- Strong attention to detail, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving.
- Comfortable working across international markets and cultures.
- Project management experience is advantageous.
