Our client, a prominent company in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Materials Handler to join their team in Littlehampton. This is a rolling contract position, ideal for individuals with a background in stores, materials, and stock control within a warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counting stock to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Assembling components into kits as per specifications
- Inputting data onto the computer system for inventory management
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy to ensure a safe working environment
- Performing general warehouse duties as required
Job Requirements:
- Experience in stores, materials, and stock control
- Background in warehouse operations within the manufacturing sector
- Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace
Hours:
- 40 hours per week
- 7am - 4.15pm (Monday to Thursday)
- 7am - 12pm (Friday)
