Commissioning Engineer
You'll play a key role in the commissioning and energisation of electrical infrastructure projects ranging from 11k V through to 132k V, working closely with project teams, clients and network operators to ensure safe and successful project delivery.

- What You'll Be Doing
- Commissioning and testing electrical systems from 11k V to 132k V
- Producing and implementing commissioning plans and inspection test documentation
- Carrying out primary and secondary injection testing
- Testing and commissioning switchgear, transformers, cables and protection systems
- Supporting energisation activities on substation, renewable and private network projects
- Conducting fault finding and diagnostic investigations
- Producing commissioning reports and technical documentation
- Working closely with project delivery teams and key stakeholders
- Supporting the development of junior engineers where required
- Ensuring all activities are completed in line with industry safety standards and procedures
What We're Looking For
- Experience commissioning HV electrical infrastructure projects
- Background within substations, renewables, ICP, utility or DNO environments
- Knowledge of protection schemes and electrical testing procedures
- Experience working on systems from 11k V to 132k V
- HNC, HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- Full UK Driving Licence
- ECS, EUSR or relevant industry certification advantageous
