Main Location: Mains Road at footpath to Merker Terrace

• Number of Positions: 1
• Hourly Rate: £10.00
• Shifts: 08:00 – 09:00, 15:00 – 16:00, 12:00 – 13:00 (varies by location)

Requirements

To work at 83 locations throughout West Lothian assisting members of the public to cross the road at key times when students are travelling to and from school. Full training and uniform will be provided. Staff will operate within the Council\’s health and safety policies and other procedures.

This position is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment by West Lothian Council.
