Position Details: 35 hours per week, 47 weeks per year, Permanent. The position is within our Social Subjects Faculty; you will teach RMPS Core, SCQF, SQA and other short courses.
About the School: The Broxburn Academy learning community includes our cluster primaries of Broxburn, Uphall, Kirkhill, Pumpherston and Uphall Station. We also receive several out-of-catchment placing requests. The school enjoys a very good reputation, strong ethos of inclusion and academic success. - Develop and deliver progressive, relevant, challenging and enjoyable curriculum with opportunities for personalisation and choice.

Qualifications: A relevant teaching qualification and registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland is essential. Successful candidates will be required to join the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to commencing employment; the cost will be met by the candidate. This post is considered regulated work with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
