Launch your product career at Europe's leading music education platform. Matchspace Music is Europe's leading music education platform. We help thousands of music teachers build sustainable careers from teaching, and we are scaling fast across international markets. You will work directly with our VP Product. This is a role for someone hungry. You want to see how a product is discovered, specified, built, shipped, measured and improved, and you want to be hands-on across the whole cycle. Everything we build follows one cycle: build, measure, learn, repeat. We are looking for a sharp analytical mind that is also creative in solving problems and providing fresh insights. In return you get a front-row seat in building AI-powered platforms, an AI-first way of working, and high visibility to the leadership team as we grow internationally.
Tasks
- Feature conceptualization: Turn evidence into product ideas. You will run the full loop, from insight, to concept and options, to a sprint-ready story, and back to the data to see whether it worked.
- Requirements engineering: Turn customer insights and support feedback into clear, buildable user stories with business context, acceptance criteria and edge cases. Own the qualification funnel so nothing rots and no ticket enters a sprint under-specified.
- Sprint operations: Run backlog hygiene, standup and review mechanics, dependency flags and blocker tracking with our development team, so decisions get made once and stay made.
- UAT, QA and testing: Own regression and release testing. Reproduce defects properly, keep the bug board honest, and support UAT and end-to-end dry runs.
- Analytics and performance measurement: Own recurring KPI reporting across our tool stack, close measurement gaps, and turn funnel and cohort data into insight the team acts on. Every feature we ship is measured against the question: did it work? What was the impact?
Requirements
- A relevant degree in business engineering, IT, information systems, digital business administration, or a related field, whether ongoing or recently completed.
- Analytical and creative: You enjoy digging into data to find the real problem, and you are creative about how to solve it. Build-measure-learn is how you already think.
- Structured and detail oriented: You find clean documentation and reproducible analysis satisfying, not tedious.
- Comfortable with data: Excel/Sheets at a solid level, able to read dashboards, willing to learn fast.
- Proficient in German (min. B2) and English (C1): You can write a requirement someone else can build from. Your main operating language is English. German is essential for our Swiss home market.
- Already using AI tools in your daily productivity workflow and genuinely curious about how software gets built.
- Self-managing in a fast-moving, distributed team.
Nice to have
- Agile/Scrum exposure, ticket systems, manual QA or test-case experience, and an interest in music, education or marketplaces.
Benefits
- Work directly with the VP Product in a dynamic, cross-functional team spanning Product, Marketing and Customer Success.
- Full end-to-end exposure: discovery, requirements, delivery, release, measurement and growth.
- A front-row seat at Europe's leading music education platform, with real breadth across very different product challenges.
- A modern, AI-first working culture.
- A high-visibility talent role with direct exposure to the leadership team and an attractive international career trajectory as we scale.
We run a short, structured screening built around real examples of your work and how you think. Tell us who you are, why this role, and when you can start. We will take it from there.
