The Consultant will play a key role in:

  • Providing senior clinical leadership in vascular surgery services
  • Participating in consultant rotas and delivering elective and urgent vascular care
  • Supporting service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance initiatives
  • Delivering expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of vascular patients
  • Performing a wide range of open and endovascular procedures
  • Mentoring and teaching NCHDs, trainees, and multidisciplinary colleagues

  • Suitable applicants may hold:
  • UK CCT in Vascular Surgery
  • EU Specialist qualification recognised under EU Directive
  • American Board Certification in Vascular Surgery
  • Canadian Fellowship
  • Australian or New Zealand Fellowship

Eligibility for Irish Medical Council Specialist Registration in Vascular Surgery is required (preferably active).
