We are seeking a qualified and forward-thinking Longevity Psychologist to support individuals in optimising mental wellbeing, emotional resilience, cognitive health, and behaviour change as part of a holistic longevity and preventive health approach. The role focuses on helping clients enhance healthspan, manage stress, improve lifestyle adherence, and maintain psychological wellbeing across midlife and older adulthood, working closely with multidisciplinary longevity and wellness teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessments focused on stress, cognition, emotional wellbeing, lifestyle behaviours, and ageing-related challenges.
- Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions to support longevity goals (e.g. stress reduction, sleep, motivation, habit change, purpose, resilience).
- Support clients with anxiety, burnout, midlife transitions, and age-related psychological concerns.
- Apply positive psychology, behavioural medicine, and cognitive-behavioural techniques within a longevity framework.
- Collaborate with physicians, nutritionists, physiotherapists, health coaches, and other wellness professionals.
- Develop personalised mental wellbeing and longevity plans aligned with medical and lifestyle programmes.
- Educate clients on mind-body connections, neuroplasticity, and healthy ageing strategies.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with UAE healthcare regulations.
- Uphold ethical, professional, and cultural standards appropriate to the UAE.
Required Qualifications
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Psychology (Clinical, Health, Counselling, or related field).
- Valid or eligible UAE professional licence (DHA, DOH/HAAD, or MOH, depending on emirate).
- Minimum 2-5 years of clinical experience (experience in health, wellness, or preventive care is an advantage).
- Strong knowledge of behavioural change, stress management, and mental wellbeing.
- Fluency in English (Arabic or other languages is an advantage).
