The company are a leading FinTech Software Company, experiencing huge growth. A multi award winning business across multiple categories, their solutions are mainly aimed at the UK professional services market such as accountancy. Following significant investment, they are currently scaling and looking for a creative designer to bring their content creation in-house. You will be their first creative hire taking ownership for this part of the marketing function. However, you will be joining a well established brand with over 10,000 UK customers already. A disrupter in the industry, they are currently growing at an exceptional pace and can offer short-term and long-term progression and development opportunities.
You will be the primary creative resource for the business, producing high-quality visual content across multiple solutions. This is a broad, hands-on role. You will work across graphic design, web and digital assets, and campaign creative, translating briefs from the marketing team into polished, on-brand output. You will work within our established brand guidelines and play an active role in evolving them over time. You will report to the Head of Marketing and work closely with the wider marketing team to deliver creative that supports our content, campaigns, and product communications. When the volume of work requires it, you will brief and oversee external freelancers, maintaining quality and consistency on their behalf.
Key Responsibilities
- Work within brand guidelines to produce consistent, high-quality creative across all output.
- Create, maintain, and improve brand asset libraries, templates, and design systems for use across the team.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of visual identity guidelines, proposing refinements where appropriate.
- Support the creation and maintenance of a central asset library accessible to the wider team.
- Produce a wide range of marketing materials including social graphics, email templates, digital ads, brochures, event assets, and presentations.
- Support product launches and go-to-market campaigns with the creative assets needed across all touchpoints.
- Design and produce web assets including landing pages, banners, icons, and imagery for the websites.
- Create digital advertising creative for display, paid social, and remarketing campaigns.
- Brief external freelance designers clearly and effectively, providing brand context and creative direction.
- Manage relationships with print suppliers and production partners where required.
Qualifications and Experience
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a design role, ideally in-house within a SaaS environment.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating experience across brand, digital, and campaign creative.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related discipline.
- Proven ability to work within established brand guidelines and produce consistently on-brand creative.
- Experience briefing and managing external freelancers or suppliers is desirable.
- An understanding of the accountancy or professional services sector is a plus, but not essential.
- Technical / software experience: HubSpot CMS, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma, Canva, Asana, Digital advertising formats and specs, Responsive web design principles, Print production and file preparation.
