A growing and award winning SaaS Vendor is looking for an IT Manager who will be responsible for the reliability, performance, and security of the internal technology estate. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will ensure all systems are forward acting, manage external relationships, and provide technical input into business projects. This is a great role for someone who understands how to keep systems running, integrated, secure and supported whilst being able to provide mentoring and leadership to people and teams.
- Manage 2 direct reports whilst also managing internal business systems (CRM, Finance, Telephony, HR, HubSpot) and platforms and act as escalation point when issues arise.
- Oversee the stability and security of the IT Infrastructure and internal systems estate (servers, networks, cloud, etc.).
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, MSP's and partners; track SLA's and renewal decisions.
- Manage the internal helpdesk function, ensuring satisfied service experience.
- Own procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management of technical equipment.
- Support cross-functional implementation projects as a technical SME; help translate business requirements into technical plans.
- Manage information security controls and oversee access rights ensuring team complies with all procedures and standards.
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience in leadership, team lead, or senior technical capacity.
- 7+ years' in IT operations/infrastructure roles.
- Experience in a fast paced business, ideally PE backed company.
- Experience managing infrastructure, security, and integrations in a business with multiple internal systems.
- Proven ability of leading and delivering multiple concurrent technology, systems or business transformation projects.
- Strong Technical skills including API Integrations, network, server, cloud, IT security, Helpdesk ticketing, and SaaS business systems (CRM, telephony, finance).
- Comfortable operating in an SME where you will wear many hats i.e. PE backed start-up or scale up with c 150-400 employees.
- Experience in a SaaS Vendor.
- Experience managing external vendors, MSPs, or technology partners.
- Clear communicator able to explain technical risk to a non-technical leadership team.
