Our client is a leading Global FinTech SaaS vendor with a reputation for industry‑leading solutions. You will join as they continue to scale their EMEA operation following significant recent investment. The business has over 1,000 people globally, with a professional and mature working culture. Their FinTech solutions are mainly aimed at companies within financial services such as banks, asset finance providers, automotive lenders and are sold at a Mid‑Market to Enterprise level. Customers rely on them to protect and scale their financial organisations by streamlining processes through technology.
In this role you will work with distributed teams to ensure that customer satisfaction is high and that client releases are delivered on time and within budget. You will work on multiple projects at the same time, mostly with existing customers seeking solutions updates and bespoke development. You will need to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders across multiple projects. Experience with FinTech or finance software project management would be highly beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Definition and management of project initiation tasks such as project mandate, resource planning, kick‑off meetings, delivery planning, communication plans, etc.
- Work with the Service Delivery Manager to ensure support agreements are met and service standards are at the expected level.
- Continually expand understanding of the finance industry and products to better understand customer goals and business drivers.
- Control and monitor timelines, resource allocation, dependencies, budgets, costs, and quality of deliverables.
- Line manage Business Analysts where appropriate, setting objectives and reviewing performance.
- Ensure compliance with project delivery governance such as change management, risk & issue management, financial reporting, and status reporting.
- Lead key stakeholder interactions, for example steering group meetings.
- Work daily with delivery teams to ensure planned activities are understood and progressing on track.
- Liaise with third parties where appropriate to ensure external tasks are tracked and delivered on time, on budget, and to the required level of quality.
- Manage escalations, risks and issues.
About You
- Demonstrable track record working as a Project Manager within software delivery with responsibility for budgets up to 2 million.
- 3+ years of experience working within a recognised project management methodology.
- Comfortable delivering projects to external clients, and managing both internal and external stakeholders.
- Previous experience delivering projects with delivery teams from multiple geographies and time zones is advantageous.
- Willingness to work away from home and travel to client sites when required.
- Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel.
- Previous experience working with financial services or asset finance firms is advantageous.
- Previous experience working with high AOV FinTech solutions is desirable.
