The role is for a Part-Time HR Manager to deliver a first-class HR service, facilitating the implementation of the people strategy. Implement qualified, best practice and innovative people practices imbedding them into the business. Assist in driving employee performance through the delivery of HR programmes. This position is an additional head due to growth. The hours for this position are non-negotiable and it does have to be 5 days per week, so they cannot be condensed in to 4 days. However it is predominantly home based with just 1 day per week in the office. Role Responsibilities: Human Resources Manager Support the CPO to deliver key HR strategic objectives Assist in the management of all core HR departmental areas including employee relations, HR admin, learning and development, employee engagement and resourcing Ensure compliance of current UK employment laws and that all current regulations are detailed within the company policies and procedures Take a lead role in managing Health & Safety throughout the company Assist the CPO with the implementation of management talent planning Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs Be a key stakeholder in the roll out of the company performance management system Create and keep up to date a data driven employee reward process Be the first point of contact for all candidates progressing through our hiring process Assist with the design of documentation to support recruitment & selection processes incorporating best practice Coach managers to deliver motivational performance management Provide HR administrative support for managers and staff where required Provide support to the CPO in the management of the on-line staff handbook, ensuring that policies and procedures are kept up to date with employment legislation and best practice Experienced Required: Human Resources Manager A strong, pragmatic and professional CIPD graduate Level 5 an above 5 years’ experience in a high calibre generalist role 5 years’ experience in selection tools & techniques Qualified or experienced in psychometric or personality testing Excellent up to date knowledge of HR & UK legislation Proven skills in relationship building Competent user of Microsoft packages including PowerPoint You will have a clear concise communication style which is persuasive and impactful Excellent organisation skills Ability to prioritise and works well under pressure Flexibility and adaptability to differing situations Excellent interpersonal skills Personal Responsibility and Achievement Orientation
