About the role:
Our client is a leading global FinTech SaaS vendor with a reputation for industry-leading solutions. You will join as they continue to scale their EMEA operation following significant recent investment, working within a business of over 1000 people worldwide that values longevity and maintains a professional and mature working culture. In this role you will work with distributed teams to ensure high customer satisfaction and that client releases are delivered on time, within budget, and with quality. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously for existing customers seeking solutions updates and bespoke development, and you will need to manage stakeholders across both internal and external parties.
Responsibilities:
- Define and manage project initiation tasks such as project mandate, resource planning, kick-off meetings, delivery planning, and communication plans.
- Work with the Service Delivery Manager to ensure support agreements are met and service standards are maintained.
- Continuously expand understanding of the finance industry and products to better grasp customer goals and business drivers.
- Control and monitor timelines, resource allocation, dependencies, budgets, costs, and quality of deliverables.
- Provide line management where appropriate for Business Analysts, setting objectives and reviewing performance.
- Ensure compliance with project delivery governance, including change management, risk & issue management, financial reporting, and status reporting.
- Lead key stakeholder interactions, such as steering group meetings.
- Work daily with delivery teams to ensure planned activities are understood and progressing on track.
- Liaise with third parties where appropriate to track and deliver external tasks on time, on budget, and to the required quality level.
- Manage escalations, risks, and issues.
About You:
- Demonstrable track record as a Project Manager within software delivery, with responsibility for budgets up to 2 million.
- 3+ years of experience using a recognized project management methodology.
- Comfortable delivering projects to external clients and managing both internal and external stakeholders.
- Previous experience delivering projects with delivery teams from multiple geographies and time zones is advantageous.
- Willingness to work away from home and travel to client sites when required.
- Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with financial services or asset finance firms is advantageous.
- Experience with high AOV FinTech solutions is desirable.
