Are you a Product Business Analyst or Product Owner in a SaaS or Software product team? Do you enjoy speaking with customers and understanding how software can help them?
Working within a growing FinTech SaaS vendor, you will work in a close-knit team to transform the product vision and strategy into actionable user stories and detailed specifications. The company aspires to grow, innovate and revolutionise industry software and are committed to delivering exceptional products. This role is ideal for a Qualified Accountant who enjoys technology and is looking for a unique career change or a Business Analyst who enjoys innovating SaaS products.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal/external stakeholders (including customers) to understand needs and gather requirements
- Carry out legislative research to ensure products remain compliant with regulatory changes
- Carry out product research to identify market requirements and new opportunities for innovation
- Translate requirements into specifications and user stories (this will be taught if coming from a Practice background)
- Collaborate with product team and colleagues
- Actively participate in agile meetings and delivery of new products and features
- Develop expertise in software functionality and processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years' as a BA or Product Owner in a SaaS / desktop software product
- Experience researching and understanding legislation changes
- Experience of gathering requirements or working on software / technology projects i.e. software rollout in practice, adoption of new software in practice
- Strong management of stakeholder relationships (internal and external)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer focus i.e. solving customer needs
- Keen interest in software and technology
