Are you an experienced Enterprise sales professional with proven success selling into Corporate customers of £500m+ turnover? Are you comfortable with selling new business and into existing relationships? Have you experience working for a company selling solutions into the Corporate Finance Office or related to Tax, Compliance, Risk, Financial Automation?

The company is a Global SaaS Vendor with a reputation for being a market leader with award-winning solutions. With over 30k employees and an average employee tenure of 8.5 years, you will be in good hands. Their solutions help companies navigate the complex corporate legal, financial and compliance landscape.

You will be selling a portfolio of industry-leading solutions focused on supporting mid-market clients with their day-to-day operations. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Executive to join their team and help to expand their corporate Enterprise market presence (£500m+ turnover) while nurturing strong customer relationships. This role is to sell into the DACH region.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales growth with new business customers as well as cross-selling and upselling into existing relationships. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies, acquire new customers, and maximize revenue from existing accounts.

This role is responsible for new business growth in existing accounts within assigned account territory made up of Enterprise customers. It carries a monthly and annual sales quota based on new business sales through targeted upsell and cross-sell campaigns. The ability to navigate complex accounts is essential as well as being able to demonstrate self-sufficient success and the ability to find, manage and close high-value deals.

Ideally, you would have sold a portfolio of multiple solutions but with experience around Tax, Compliance, Risk, Corporate Finance Office is essential.

About The Role

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand the enterprise customer base
  • Collaborate with account specialists, solution consultants, product specialists, and marketing teams to create effective sales and renewal strategies
  • Meet or exceed established goals, KPIs, and performance metrics
  • Drive new customer acquisition through strategic sales initiatives
  • Identify, pursue, and close new sales opportunities within assigned territory or market segment
  • Upsell and cross-sell to existing customers to maximize revenue
  • Foster strong, long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with the customer success team for smooth onboarding and continued customer success
  • Lead customer meetings and develop presentations for complex sales opportunities
  • Understand customer business needs and challenges
  • Present tailored solutions demonstrating how our products solve specific problems
  • Conduct regular business reviews to ensure alignment with customer goals

Experience Required

  • Proven track record in Global Enterprise Software Sales and managing complex Solution Sales Cycle.
  • Experience of selling SaaS solutions into the Corporate Finance Office
  • You must have 5+ years of quota-carrying experience in Enterprise Software Sales with large/global accounts and working together with strategic partners and alliances.
  • You approach your work in a structured manner, with autonomy and creativity.
  • You have experience in developing and managing long-term multi-stakeholder relationships with large accounts and customers.
  • You are passionate about the opportunity of growing a business and working in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • You have a Hunter mentality and a value-based selling approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners and customers.
  • Fluent German and English skills (speaking and writing)
  • Prior experience in selling ERPs like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft etc., Tax Technology solutions, etc. would be an added advantage.
