Do you want to lead the AI strategy and capabilities across a successful software vendor? Do you have experience designing & delivering AI solutions using Python, TypeScript or C#?

As an AI Software Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of practical AI solutions, building and maintaining LLM-powered applications that support products and improve internal processes across the business. You will take ideas from early exploration through to production-ready systems, working with teams across the business to identify opportunities where AI can improve processes. This is a great opportunity to pilot AI throughout the business and ultimately shape the business AI strategy and direction. You will be at the forefront of cutting edge technology and take ownership of how it is used across the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver practical AI solutions
  • Build and maintain LLM-powered applications, including retrieval-augmented workflows and tools integrations
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed AI capabilities into software suite
  • Establish best practice and champion AI
  • Identify opportunities where AI will improve workflows, tooling and operational processes
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, contribute to strategy, and define a clear AI roadmap for the business
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience as a Software Developer or Software Engineer
  • Commercial AI Software Engineer Experience - delivering production-ready solutions using Python, TypeScript or C#
  • Hands on experience building LLM-based applications and solid understanding of retrieval-augmented generation approaches
  • Experience leading projects or parts of projects from design through delivery
  • Product mindset and collaborative approach - able to work closely with others to shape solutions
  • Beneficial - exposure to ERP, B2B SaaS, or financial software
  • Beneficial - experience with vector search, data pipelines, AI monitoring, and security
