The company is a leading FinTech Software Company, experiencing huge growth and with a reputation for being a market leader. They are looking for an Account Manager to join their already well-established sales function to manage a portfolio of their core customer base.
As a disrupter in the industry, they are currently growing at an exceptional pace and can offer short-term and long-term progression and development opportunities. They are looking for a self-motivated, experienced and confident Account Manager that has the proven ability to run and manage your own territory to achieve revenue targets.
You will be selling their award-winning software using a professional and consultative approach to sales maximising opportunities for long-term growth. You will need to have 18 months sales experience selling software into Accountancy firms and experience of managing a portfolio of existing relationships working to revenue and retention targets. You will strategically manage your portfolio with a view to retain, cross-sell and upsell into the base.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver upon a monthly target with a systematic approach to territory management and identifying opportunities for growth
- Engage all your customers on a minimum of a quarterly basis and conduct regular account reviews
- Strong understanding of key customer objectives and what success looks like for them
- Upsell and Cross-sell additional software and solutions into the customer base
- Proactively interact with customers in a way that builds lasting relationships to the benefit of both parties
- Schedule and execute annual account reviews with key customers
- Run demonstrations both 121 with individual customers, and in group settings/webinars as required
- Deliver live reporting on all customer activity and accurate forecast tracking on a weekly basis
- Proactive contacting of customers with pending renewal
- Attending promotional industry events throughout the year and staffing company exhibition stand, engaging with customers and prospects face to face
Experience Required:
- 18+ months B2B sales experience - ideally within a FinTech company such as Accountancy Software, Tax Solutions, Payroll, Compliance, Forecasting
- Tenacity and proven track record of achieving revenue targets
- The ability to build sales plans within a territory
- Excellent customer focus
- Commercial awareness
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- The ability to demonstrate and present with confidence
- Personal responsibility and achievement orientation
