They are looking for a pro-active, analytical Backend Engineer to join a growing team. You will have an entrepreneurial and empathetic mindset that propels you to commit to delving deep into the user experience, the challenges they face, and how to improve the product. You'll also come with strong collaboration skills and the ability to document proper requirements for short-term and long-term projects.

Backend Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Design, development and testing of new features in the applications
  • Implement, test, and bug-fix functionality
  • Work with and support the product manager on new initiatives and features development
  • Participate as a team member in fully agile Scrum deliveries
Backend Engineer Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience developing applications in Node.js
  • Experience with MongoDB or other non-relational databases
  • Experience in a start-up and scale-up software company
  • Experience in development of distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications
  • Follow best practices and design patterns
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written

No visa sponsorship. Must work in the UK. UK standard hours (flexibility 8/9am - 4/6pm).
