We are working with an MSP / IT consultancy who have undergone an exciting brand renewal and new packaging of services. You will target business owners and non-technical leaders in North West based businesses, sharing value in cutting edge technology which will ultimately propel their businesses.
The Business Development Manager will generate and close deals with public and private sector organisations across the UK. You will gain an understanding of their entire product portfolio including IT managed services and IT solutions / consultancy to be able to sell consultatively to organisations. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded individual to build an exciting fast-paced career.
Responsibilities:
- Self-generate and close new sales opportunities
- Explain the benefits of IT Managed Services, Consultancy, and IT Solutions to potential clients in a concise manner that creates further product curiosity
- Prospect new customers and leads as well as close deals
- Manage existing accounts, growing their use of solutions and services
- Utilize social media platforms to connect and further score potential leads
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience achieving a B2B sales target within a similar BDM or Account Management role
- Ideally experience within the IT or Software space OR keen interest
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive approach to sales and marketing
- Comfortable making outbound calls
- Full driving licence and vehicle
