As a Node JS Backend Developer you will focus on outcomes rather than just activity.

You will own the delivery of backend features end-to-end by writing clean, well-tested code that meets a high standard of quality and performance in production.

  • Node JS Software Developer - Responsibilities
  • Deliver backend features end-to-end (design to delivery, production-ready code) in a fast-moving agile team
  • Write scalable, high-performance server-side code in Node JS and Type Script
  • Build and contribute to microservices; take ownership of outcomes rather than wait to be directed
  • Write unit and integration tests that ensure code quality, reliability, and stability across releases
  • Node JS Software Developer - Requirements
  • Experience in server-side development i. e. Node Js, Type Script
  • Familiarity with Nest JS
  • Experience with messaging queues i. e. Rabbit MQ or Kafka
  • Experience development microservice solutions
  • Experience in a fast-paced or high growth environment
  • Experience with GIT, Docker, VS Code
  • Experience with unit and integration testing using Jest
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles.
  • Experience working with SQL and/or No SQL databases
  • Strong problem solver
