Are you an experienced subsidence claims professional ready to take full ownership of your own caseload? We're recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading UK Loss Adjusting firm, for an experienced Subsidence Technician to join their established subsidence team. This is a genuinely varied, technical role, you'll manage cases from first notification through to final resolution, coordinating surveyors, engineers and specialists to investigate cause, assess damage, and negotiate fair settlements.
What you'll be doing:
- Taking full technical ownership of an allocated subsidence caseload
- Instructing and coordinating external surveyors and technical specialists
- Triaging claims and selecting the right handling route, desktop, video technology, or on-site
- Negotiating and agreeing settlements efficiently and fairly
- Delivering a high standard of customer, client and broker service throughout
- Accurately managing claims via the IT claims management system
- Supporting TCF principles and meeting client SLAs/KPIs
What we're looking for:
- Strong knowledge of building-related claims and subsidence principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good IT literacy and confidence with digital claims tools
- Cert CILA / Cert CII (or willingness to work towards)
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and to deadlines
- A team player who's equally comfortable working independently
