This role doesn't involve any new business cold calling. However, you will be expected to answer calls and follow up on inbound enquiries, including following up on quotes after you've sent them. You'll need to be confident making calls and have a proactive approach.

You’ll be a good fit for this role if you’re someone who likes to take ownership rather than wait to be told what to do. You’ll need to be comfortable following things through, keeping on top of the detail and asking questions when you’re unsure rather than guessing. You’ll also need to be keen to learn, take feedback on board and build your product and commercial knowledge as you go. If you like using your initiative, spotting where things could be done better and taking on more responsibility as you become more confident, this is the sort of person we’re looking for.

The Sales Support Administrator handles low-value customer quote requests, making sure every quote is accurate, commercially sensible and sent out promptly, then follows it up to help turn it into an order. The role keeps customer records, enquiries and contact accurately logged in our CRM so the sales team can rely on what they see.

Alongside your own quotes, you’ll support the wider sales team with the administration that keeps their pipeline moving, following up quotes on their behalf, chasing next steps with customers, preparing quotes and keeping deal information up to date. You’ll also be involved as we introduce new quoting tools, including an AI-assisted quote workflow we’re currently developing.

It’s a role for someone who takes pride in the detail, knows when to handle something themselves and when to bring in the right person, and wants to grow their product and commercial knowledge over time.

What your day to day will look like:

  • You’ll handle customer quote requests, making sure quotes are accurate, commercially sensible and turned around within the expected timescales.
  • You’ll also follow up on quotes once they’ve been sent, helping to keep enquiries moving and customers supported.
  • You’ll work closely with the wider sales team, supporting with quote preparation, sales administration and other sales-related activity.
  • Where an opportunity needs more specialist input, you’ll know when to involve the right person and make sure nothing gets missed.
  • Keeping things organised will be important too. You’ll maintain accurate customer and sales information, recording enquiries, quotes, customer contact and follow-ups.

Alongside the day-to-day role, you’ll build your commercial knowledge, learn more about the products and develop your confidence when dealing with customers through practical experience, support from the team and feedback as you develop.

Please apply today to learn more and be considered and shortlisted.
