Monday-Friday. 37.5 hour working week. Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5pm and Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm (45 minute lunch break). Kettering area. Office based. Permanent.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established international business in a role that will see you become a key part of the decision-making process. Working closely with senior management, you'll provide the financial analysis and insight needed to support business performance, future planning and ongoing growth initiatives.
You'll become involved in budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis and business case preparation, helping the business understand performance and identify opportunities for improvement. The insight you provide will be used by senior management to evaluate opportunities, improve performance and support our clients' long-term objectives.
Summary of your day to day duties:- Analysing Financial and Operational Performance: You'll work closely with senior management, providing the financial information and commercial understanding needed to support key business decisions. By identifying trends, understanding variances and highlighting opportunities, you'll play an active role in supporting both operational performance and longer-term strategy.
- Monitoring Costs and Identifying Improvements: You'll gain a detailed understanding of manufacturing costs and operational performance, analysing trends and investigating variances across the site. Your work will help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste and strengthen profitability across the business.
- Budgeting, Forecasting and Business Support: This is a role where you'll become involved in a wide range of financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting and business planning. The information and recommendations you provide will help senior management evaluate opportunities, support future growth plans and make well-informed business decisions.
- Driving Continuous Improvement: You'll work closely with colleagues across Finance and Operations to identify opportunities to improve reporting, strengthen processes and increase visibility of business performance. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to wider improvement projects, helping the finance function continue to evolve alongside the business.
To be considered, you'll ideally have previous experience within a manufacturing environment, where you've been involved in budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis and providing financial insight to support operational decision-making.
