Hybrid working with their office in Corby (minimum of 1 office day required per week). During the first 2-3 months of training, this role would need to be fully office based.

Due to the nature of the role, travel during working hours will be required. Please note, this isn't a training role and experience from outside the industry won't be considered transferable.
Summary of Associate Surveyor:
The Associate Surveyor is a fully competent surveying professional responsible for independently conducting detailed property and land inspections, delivering high-quality reports, and ensuring work meets organisational, regulatory, and professional standards. The Associate Surveyor plays a key role in progressing cases efficiently, undertaking valuations, supporting quality assurance processes, and providing technical input across a wide range of residential and land matters, including exposure to planning and development issues.
What your day to day will look like within the role of Associate Surveyor:
- Deliver a professional service to clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
- Confidently answer queries around inspections, valuations and the overall process while ensuring all communication is accurate and authorised.
- Plan and carry out on-site property and land inspections independently, recording measurements and observations, taking photographs and producing detailed post-inspection reports and digital site plans.
- Undertake preliminary and full valuations, including injurious affection assessments, using relevant comparable evidence and market data.
- Contribute to quality assurance by reviewing colleagues' work where required and providing technical support or guidance to trainee surveyors and team members.
- Manage workload effectively while working collaboratively with the wider team, ensuring all work is carried out in line with RICS standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures.
