Match Lab Recruiting is representing an internationally recognised, design-led luxury rug brand to identify a Business Development Manager to support the continued growth of its presence within the UK and European design community. Our client is known for its distinctive aesthetic, exceptional craftsmanship, and commitment to material innovation. The brand collaborates closely with leading interior designers and architects on some of the most exceptional private residential interiors worldwide and is widely regarded as one of the most design-driven companies in the luxury rug category.
This is a field-based role focused on developing relationships with interior designers, architects, and specifiers across London, the UK, and select European markets. The Business Development Manager will act as a key brand ambassador within the design community, introducing the brand’s collections to new studios, identifying project opportunities, and supporting designers throughout the specification process.
Key Responsibilities- Develop relationships with interior designers, architects, and specifiers across London and the wider UK market.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within high-end residential projects.
- Present collections and bespoke capabilities through in-person meetings and design consultations.
- Support designers throughout the specification and project development process.
- Manage a pipeline of opportunities and maintain strong client relationships.
- Represent the brand at industry events and within the design community.
- 3–8+ years of experience in business development or trade sales within luxury interiors.
- Experience selling to interior designers or architects preferred.
- Strong network within the London A+D community is highly desirable.
- Passion for design, craftsmanship, and the luxury interiors industry.
- London-based role with travel across the UK and occasional travel within Europe.
- Competitive base salary plus commission.
