About the roleWe are actively seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team in the role of Website Product Assistant with a focus on Product Information Management (PIM). As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date product content on our website, ensuring a seamless online shopping experience for our customers. This role will be located at our Manchester Studios 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities -
Product Information Management (PIM):
- Oversee the PIM system to ensure the accuracy and consistency of product information across all channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, update, and maintain comprehensive product data.
- Ensure that product attributes, specifications, and images are accurately represented in the PIM system
Content Updates:
- Regularly update and enhance product content on the website, including product descriptions, images, and pricing.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to create engaging and informative product pages.
- Monitor and update inventory levels to reflect accurate availability on the website
SEO-Optimised Product Descriptions:
- Utilise AI tools and techniques to craft product descriptions that are highly optimised for search engines (SEO).
- Conduct keyword research whilst working alongside the SEO team to identify relevant and high-ranking terms to incorporate into product content.
- Stay abreast of SEO trends and algorithm updates to continually enhance product content for improved discoverability.
- Analyse performance metrics and user engagement data to refine and enhance SEO strategies for product descriptions.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular audits of product information to identify and correct discrepancies or errors.
- Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and maintain consistency in product presentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to product data and content.
Continuous Improvement:
