About the Role
As a General Sales Assistant – Keyholder, you will deliver an efficient and reliable service to customers who are at the heart of everything we do. You will be a customer advisor achieving sales while living our Matalan Values; maintaining a high‑performing, energetic and adaptable energy, all while ensuring the customer experience in‑store is paramount. You will support the management team where required, and at times have sole responsibility for store open/close procedures, guiding colleagues, building leadership capabilities, driving store and colleague performance, and championing customer service in‑store.
