As a General Sales Assistant within our stores, you’ll be delivering an efficient and reliable service to our customers who are at the heart of everything we do. You will be a customer advisor achieving our sales whilst living our Matalan Values; maintaining a high performing, energetic and adaptable energy – all whilst making sure that our customer’s experience in-store is at the forefront of our work.
Responsibilities
- Provide efficient and reliable service to customers and place the customer at the heart of our work.
- Act as a customer advisor to achieve our sales while living the Matalan Values.
- Maintain a high performing, energetic and adaptable approach in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Work across the shop floor, till area and stock room to support store operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced retail sales environment is preferred.
- Ability to work across the shop floor, till area and stock room as required.
- Availability to work during the Christmas period, including Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day (as per rota).
