Overview
As a General Sales Assistant within our stores, you’ll be delivering an efficient and reliable service to our customers who are at the heart of everything we do. You will be a customer advisor achieving our sales whilst living our Matalan Values; maintaining a high performing, energetic and adaptable energy – all whilst making sure that our customer’s experience in-store is at the forefront of our work.
Please note: Christmas General Sales Assistants must be available to work over the Christmas period, which will include Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day (dependant on your rota).
Responsibilities
- Deliver an efficient and reliable level of service to customers on the shop floor, till area and stock room.
- Act as a customer advisor to achieve sales while upholding Matalan Values.
- Maintain a high performing, energetic and adaptable approach with the customer’s in-store experience at the forefront of work.
- Work across the shop floor, till area and stock room as part of a fast-paced retail environment.
