Location: Brighton & Hove

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (4 days on-site, 1 day remote)

MAT Recruitment is supporting Aldridge Education in their search for a proactive and strategic HR Partner to join their team. This role will provide HR leadership across three education settings in Brighton and Hove. We are looking for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced education environment. The closing date of this role is the 27th of February.

As an HR Partner, you will:

  • Act as the first point of contact for HR support across the Trust\’s Brighton-based schools.
  • Work closely with the Chief People Officerand the broader HR team to implement strategic initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and organisational change.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures align with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with school leaders, trade unions, and key stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with:

  • HR experience, ideally within the education sector
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (Level 7 desirable)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, adaptable approach to HR challenges
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, recruitment, and policy development
  • Experience managing change and supporting organisational development
