We are looking for an experienced Electronics Inspector to join our manufacturing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection and quality checking of electronic assemblies throughout the production process, including populated PCB assemblies, cable and harness assemblies and complete unit assemblies.
This is a hands-on role requiring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
You will work closely with our production teams to ensure that assemblies meet the required drawings, specifications and quality standards.
Previous experience in PCB inspection or electronics manufacturing is important.
Experience of AOI inspection would be advantageous, although it is not essential for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect populated Surface Mount (SMT) PCB assemblies to component level.
Inspect populated conventional/th through-hole PCB assemblies to component level.
Inspect cable assemblies and harnesses.
Inspect completed electronic unit assemblies.
Carry out full First-Off Inspections and provide approval prior to production runs on PCB assemblies, cables and unit assemblies.
Identify and record defects and discrepancies against drawings, specifications and other relevant production documentation.
Provide constructive feedback to production operators where faults or quality issues are identified. xgikmsk
