Our clients whose Head Office is based in the North West and who are going from strength to strength are on the hunt for Fenestration Surveyors. To work will be remote around Dundee and surrounding areas.
Job description: To carry out site measurement of replacement windows and doors along with any associated works on commercial sites. Recording the fenestration detail and site requirements on company templates to enable an effective and complete installation. Deliver accurate manufacturing survey information on time, to the required quality standard and in accordance with any current planning and building control regulations along with all relevant Health & Safety legislation. Maintain and develop relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Effectively provide accurate window and door manufacturing data to meet factory deadlines and requirements.
- Attend client meetings, as required, representing the Company in a professional manner, protecting the company from any potential risk in ensuring a clear flow of communication to all relevant departments.
- Report on measurement progress at regular intervals (minimum weekly) to the Survey Manager.
- Respond to and effectively deal with all instructions, from client or internally, ensuring all relevant company staff are fully informed.
- Establish, maintain, and utilise the contract programme to ensure measurement to suit the sequence of installation and factory requirement.
- Maintain a record of all site instructions either written or verbal, ensuring these are confirmed in writing to the company quantity surveyor and contract staff, of any changes likely to affect progress and profitability.
- Provide non-conformance details such as any works required that cannot meet regulations, by reporting these to the postholder's line supervisor and discuss with customers and clients wherever possible to resolve such matters.
- Provide reports via standard forms and any other data requested by the company in a precise and prompt manner.
- Provide information, sketches, and data to the Technical Manager for design detailing, changes, and improvement.
- Operate within the Company’s recognised systems and procedures, protecting the Company’s interests in all business activities.
- To perform any other activities reasonably required of the postholder to meet the needs of the business.

- Work Location: Remote - To cover Dundee and surrounding areas
