We are recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator to join our client's engineering and manufacturing team in Blackpool. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm TIG welding position working 39 hours per week, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
We would like to hear from candidates with previous experience working as a TIG Welder, Welder Fabricator, Fabricator Welder, TIG Fabricator or Production Welder.
TIG Welder Duties
- TIG welding and fabrication of components
- Producing high-quality TIG welds
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications
- Fabricating and assembling components
- Preparing materials for welding
- Checking completed welds and finished components
- Using welding, fabrication and workshop equipment
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Following health and safety procedures
TIG Welder Requirements
Previous TIG welding experience is essential. The successful candidate should have:
- Proven TIG welding experience
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail
- Experience working within an engineering, manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of workshop health and safety
Pay, Hours & Contract
Hourly Rate: £13.87 - £15.54 per hour, depending on experience
