MasterMover is the world’s leading manufacturer of electric tugs. Our innovative handling solutions can move wheeled and semi‑wheeled loads ranging in size from 50kg up to 360,000kg. Our electric tugs and tows are the product of choice for market‑leading organisations and worldwide brands in the aerospace, automotive and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in retail, health care and other sectors of the economy.

We have a requirement for a Field Service Engineer to join the Service team. You will be required to travel in Northern England (vehicle will be provided). You will attend customer sites to maintain the machines and carry out repairs. The role also includes the commissioning of new machines and training operators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining and repairing hydraulic, electrical and battery‑powered machinery
  • Providing training to customers on the full use of the machinery
  • Creating professional relationships with customers to achieve customer loyalty
  • Working closely with the Service Support team in managing workload effectively and reporting accurate and timely activities
  • Organising diary and prioritising workload
  • Managing administrative tasks and completing paperwork accurately where required
Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience in service/mechanical maintenance
  • Solid knowledge of engineering principles, maintenance and repair of machinery
  • A hard‑working individual with a positive can‑do attitude
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Good IT skills and proficient in using Microsoft Office
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
