Position Overview
As a Production Assembler Apprentice within the Technical Assembly Production team, you will gain hands‑on experience building and assembling MasterMover products to the highest quality standards. You will develop core production and technical assembly skills, learning how our products are manufactured from components through to finished units ready for customer delivery. This apprenticeship provides a strong foundation in mechanical assembly, production processes, and quality standards, while supporting continuous improvement within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
About the Course
This three‑year apprenticeship allows you to earn while you learn, with college day release over the first two years (September 2026 to June 2028) to achieve the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering mandatory qualification. You will gain practical experience within a production environment, developing skills in mechanical assembly, component preparation, quality inspection, and safe manufacturing practices. Along the way, you will build valuable skills in teamwork, problem‑solving, attention to detail, and production efficiency, creating a strong foundation for a long‑term career in manufacturing and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Assemble MasterMover products in line with engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards
- Kit components and prepare materials for production builds
- Carry out mechanical assembly tasks using hand tools and production equipment
- Support testing, inspection, and basic functional checks of finished units
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace in line with 5S standards
- Follow health and safety procedures and support continuous improvement activities
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet build targets and quality expectations
