About Us
At Masterfix, we specialise in delivering high-quality property maintenance and compliance services across London’s prime and super-prime residential developments. Due to continued growth within our FIRAS division, we are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Carpenter to join our team carrying out fire door repairs, remedial works and associated carpentry across residential apartments and communal areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, enjoys working in high-end environments and understands the importance of professionalism when working within residents’ homes.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Fire door repairs and remedial works
- Adjustments, easing and alignment of fire doors
- Ironmongery replacement and upgrades
- Installation of intumescent strips, seals and hinges
- General carpentry associated with fire compliance works
- Working within occupied residential developments and private homes
- Accurately recording works completed via mobile job management software
- Delivering a high standard of customer service at all times
Requirements
Essential:
- City & Guilds Carpentry Qualification
- Proven carpentry experience within residential properties
- Experience carrying out fire door repairs/remedials
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working within occupied homes and interacting with residents
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Desirable:
- FIRAS accreditation/experience
- BM TRADA experience or accreditation
- Experience working within prime or super-prime residential developments
- Knowledge of fire compliance standards and regulations
