As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at MasterControl, you will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to drive lead generation and qualification. In this role, you will be responsible for proactive outbound prospecting, lead activity management, and nurturing leads from inception through qualification before transitioning them to the appropriate Regional Account Executive. The ideal candidate will be a highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and team-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This position offers advancement potential within the organization and includes an uncapped commission structure.
An Enterprise SDR needs to partner with their assigned sales team to find high-value targets within defined target accounts. Responsibilities include:
- Ability to map an organization and understand its manufacturing organization.
- Ability to tailor outbound marketing campaigns to a variety of manufacturing modalities.
- Ability to manage conversations and engagement across a variety of levels within an Enterprise organization, from associate up to site head and HQ digital leadership.
- Ability to multitask and keep a variety of systems up-to-date.
- Curiosity to be an ongoing learner, ingest product and market information, and routinely deliver sales hand-off calls.

- Design and execute targeted outreach campaigns by developing your own creative messaging sequences, email templates, and multi-channel touchpoints that resonate with specific buyer personas and industry segments.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance prospecting efficiency, for personalized message crafting, for data enrichment and automation, and AI-driven analytics platforms to optimize campaign performance and identify high-intent prospects.
- Own your pipeline generation strategy by independently creating data-driven marketing campaigns.
- Ability to collaborate with the sales team to enable rigorous focus on key accounts.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and adaptation skills.

- 1-3 years of sales or sales support experience (technology industry preferred).
- Experience working in a team environment while maintaining independence.
- Demonstrated success in account penetration through email outreach (candidates must provide samples).
- Proven ability to overcome objections.
- Prior experience with Salesforce CRM and Pardot marketing automation tool.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Solid work ethic and a mature, professional demeanor.
- Comfort with cold calling and a self-disciplined, organized approach.
- Good understanding of business and technical concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to navigate organizations from top-down.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
